Emma's soccer

We decided to let Emma play soccer again this year. Geoff and I were actually asked to coach, which is funny, because we really don't know anything about soccer. We found some games to help with different skills for practice each week, the girls all loved the games. It ended up being a lot of fun, we enjoyed watching our team, The Pink Cougars, improve a little each game. Emma did a lot better this year too.
The only bad thing about being coaches was that we didn't get many pictures during the game. Geoff was usually on the field with the girls, and I was standing at the goal trying to help the goalie pay attention.

A little peak into our August.

Every year Thanksgiving Point does $2 Tuesday, so every year we take them to the gardens for a little photo shoot. The kids always have a blast. This year we pick up some in & out for dinner, ate that, and then did pics. After all that we stopped at the Deli for their yummy ice cream. This is always a fun little outing for us.
Emma is growing up so fast.
I love this picture. I am so lucky to have such a great man to have these kids with. He is so good to them, and me. It reminds me of how much he takes care of all of us. I hope the kids will always have a strong relationship with him.
James is such a fun little boy. He can be very mischevious at times, and I am often nervous when it has been quiet for too long. But he is also one of the most loving little boys ever.

As you can see, Emma has become quite the little model. I'm not sure where it came from.

This is Emma's first day of 1st grade. She had such a great time. I was pretty nervous about her going off for the whole day, but she had a blast. She was so excited to see all of her friends again.

Emma Turns 6

Emma was so excited for her birthday this year. She had a long list of kids to invite, and I let her invite them all, thinking some wouldn't show up, but I was wrong. We ended up having 15 kids are her party. It was a little overwhelming, but it was also fun to see her with her friends, and see how much they love her. This is a picture of us playing Pass the Present, the kids all thought it was great.

They also loved playing on our airplane.
Everything was Hello Kitty themed, she's is now fully stocked in Hello Kitty gear.
She was so excited for all the birthday fun.
I made a simple Hello Kitty cake for her, she loved it.
We decided that it is easier to have a friends party and a family party, instead of combining both, so this is at her family party. We decided to get her a leap pad, she loves it. We are so glad that we got it.
Emma got lots of presents from everyone that loves her, and some money for our upcoming trip to disneyland.
These 2 kids love each other so much, I love to watch how well they take care of each other.

Lehi Pioneer Days

Every year we take the kids to Lehi's Pioneer Days, for those that aren't local, most of the towns in Utah have their own "Days," it's like a festival. There is always a parade, and some sort of carnival or activity. The kids love the Lehi parade, everyone throws candy. They left this year with 2 gallon bags full of candy. After the parade we always take them to the family fun fair to ride the horses. They love riding the horses.

James was so excited about riding a horse.

I love all these pictures of Emma, she is such a happy girl. She loves animals so she was very happy to get to ride the horses.
