September in a nutshell

In September we had the opportunity to go the open house of the Brigham City Temple before it was dedicated. It is always fun to take the kids and explain a little about what happens in temples.
It was pouring when we walked out of the open house, our chance for pictures was very slim. We decided to make the short drive to Logan and stop at the Aggie Creamery for some ice cream. Logan was super nice, so we stopped at the Logan Temple for some pictures
I posted a lot of similar pictures, but I can't help it, I LOVE them all.
Emma had crazy hair day at school. She was being very picky about how she wanted her hair, but we finally settled on something. She was so excited about it.

Emma's soccer

We decided to let Emma play soccer again this year. Geoff and I were actually asked to coach, which is funny, because we really don't know anything about soccer. We found some games to help with different skills for practice each week, the girls all loved the games. It ended up being a lot of fun, we enjoyed watching our team, The Pink Cougars, improve a little each game. Emma did a lot better this year too.
The only bad thing about being coaches was that we didn't get many pictures during the game. Geoff was usually on the field with the girls, and I was standing at the goal trying to help the goalie pay attention.

A little peak into our August.

Every year Thanksgiving Point does $2 Tuesday, so every year we take them to the gardens for a little photo shoot. The kids always have a blast. This year we pick up some in & out for dinner, ate that, and then did pics. After all that we stopped at the Deli for their yummy ice cream. This is always a fun little outing for us.
Emma is growing up so fast.
I love this picture. I am so lucky to have such a great man to have these kids with. He is so good to them, and me. It reminds me of how much he takes care of all of us. I hope the kids will always have a strong relationship with him.
James is such a fun little boy. He can be very mischevious at times, and I am often nervous when it has been quiet for too long. But he is also one of the most loving little boys ever.

As you can see, Emma has become quite the little model. I'm not sure where it came from.

This is Emma's first day of 1st grade. She had such a great time. I was pretty nervous about her going off for the whole day, but she had a blast. She was so excited to see all of her friends again.
