I finally decided to take a minute and put pictures of my cakes up. I am having a lot of fun with these, and wish I could make more than what I do, but there really isn't a need to make a lot of them (we don't really eat cake), and I don't have all the time in the world to do it. Each cake takes me about 5 days from start to finish, although I can do it faster, if I give myself time I'm happier with the end result. Please leave me comments, I would love to hear what people think of these. Thanks
I think I might be most proud of this green one, I finished this one last night. I made the roses out of fondant a few days ago. I was excited that I got the green color I wanted, I was afraid it would be too bright.
This one is the exception to my 5 day rule. I decided to make a cake for my friends daughter for her birthday, I put this one together on sunday. It is also my first cake using buttercream frosting for the whole thing. Sorry that the pics are backwards, the camera showed them the correct way.

Nice work, Mandy. I love the roses. Those look like a lot of work. I've never made them out of fondant, just frosting. You should take pictures of all your cakes and start your cakefolio. (You know, a portfolio of cakes!)

Those look great. I love all of them actually. I have tried to do a couple of fondant cakes - no lessons or anything, and they never turn out how I imagine them. Those roese look really good too!
