Potty Time

We have been unsuccessfully working on potty training for the past couple of weeks, we would just try here and there, explaining to Emma how this whole thing works. I was starting to think she really wasn't ready, until yesterday. She woke up from her nap and had a dry diaper, so I immediately took her to her little potty and sat her down. We sat there for a good half hour, singing and playing so that she didn't feel pressured. Geoff came home during all of this and I told him she had been sitting there for quite some time, he decided that it was a good try, but it was time to get off the potty. When she stood up, much to my surprise, she had gone potty, I had no idea. We are so excited about this, hopefully she will continue to have success. She was very excited to get some monies (she loves money) and a treat, and we were more than happy to give them to her.
